Platform and SAS
SAS and Platform Computing have a strategic partnership based on SAS bundling Platform’s core technology to provide better flexibility, scalability and reliability for its applications. The Platform Suite for SAS is comprised of two products:

1) LSF for SAS is a OEM component of SAS Grid Manager, which can be used by multiple SAS products to build and manage a SAS compute Grid.

2) Process Manager for SAS can be used by any SAS Application to provides fault tolerant, scalable calendar and event driven scheduling across server clusters.

Platform Process Manager for SAS
This product enhances the SAS Scheduling capabilities by offering to reduce the cost of developing, deploying, executing and maintaining SAS applications. Platform Process Manager for SAS accelerates the execution of SAS jobs so they complete faster, making scheduling, analyzing and monitoring the processing of distributed application workloads possible across the enterprise.
