Platform and Matrix Science

Large-scale users of Matrix Science products, particularly on server farms, can take advantage of the flexible queue management and job prioritization capabilities of Platform LSF.

Mascot Server has been integrated with Platform LSF so that database searches can be launched back-to-back, avoiding the concurrency of searches and ensuring that search results are obtained in the order the search tasks were submitted. The integration ensures that the progress report of the search is visible from the client the search job was submitted from.

·       Mascot Server, a powerful search engine that uses mass spectrometry data to identify proteins from primary sequence databases.
