Platform Computing and Macrovision to Deliver Enhanced Grid Computing Capabilities

Platform Computing, the largest independent grid software and solutions company, and Macrovision (Nasdaq: MVSN), the market leader in software licensing, today announced an expanded partnership that will enable Platform customers to optimize their grid computing implementations.

Platform Computing and Macrovision originally partnered in 2003 when Macrovision announced the formation of their FLEXnet alliance program. As part of the alliance program, Macrovision will certify Platform Computing products for operation with FLEXnet, Macrovision’s award-winning universal licensing platform. Macrovision is the market leader in software licensing, with more than 3,000 ISV’s and 850 enterprises using the company’s solutions to maximize the value of their software assets.
