We are currently looking for 1 individual to fill the role of Web Programmer.
Responsible for the successful use of Internet and Intranet tools to improve customer service and enable information sharing for customers, partners and employees.

Based on marketing and business plans, will analyze, design, and implement technical solutions using the organization's Internet/Intranet system. Working closely with Marketing, Support and Development, establish/maintain web/portal strategies and technologies that respond to business needs. Will coordinate the content and organization of data with various departments but it is typically not responsible for content development. Will advise personnel or departments on the proper production, technical and design technique specific to Internet/Intranet development. Has experience and skill with dominant applications to maintain and modify the organization's Internet/Intranet efforts including:

· Authentication/Rights management,
· Portal tool and web programming,
· Content management and publishing,
· Tools to connect business applications to portal interfaces Typically works in set production schedules and under very tight deadlines.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Design, develop and Maintain web-centric applications (Portal tools, CMS and simple HTML)
2) Prepare and maintain technical documentation that includes database structure, server and user access rights.
3) Contributes to user functional requirements and translates them into technical design and development projects.
4) Works with other internal departments to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
5) Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new web technologies as they emerge.
