Summary Performs product support to customers on moderately complex and complex problems. Operates under moderate supervision.
Responsibilities
- Resolves problems that require thorough knowledge of the use of Platform products and their features.
- Uses workaround and patches correctly and designs new workaround solutions that require good knowledge of products and user environment.
- Tracks product problems, identifies bugs and coordinates with developers or more senior support people in fixing them.
- Develops support tools and procedures that improve the quality and productivity.
- Interacts with sales people and pre-sales engineers on customer issues.
- Performs non-complex bug fixes in source code and moderately complex bugs in installation.
- Produces product patches according to procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ working experience in multiple Operating Systems such as Linux/Windows/Unix.
- Good communication skills and inter-personal skills.
- Excellent English ability in reading, writing and speaking is highly required.
- French or Japanese is an extra asset to the position.
- Like to work with customers through emails or phone.
- Excellent ability in problem analysis and solution.
- Ability to fix some non-complex bugs in the code and excellentability in fixing installation/configuration related bugs.
- Good productivity and quality results.
- Be able to work with high pressure.
- Be able to work with multiple tasks concurrently.
- Flexibility in working schedule.
