Summary
Performs product support to customers on moderately complex and complex problems.
Operates under moderate supervision.


Responsibilities

  • Resolves problems that require thorough knowledge of the use of Platform products and their features.
  • Uses workaround and patches correctly and designs new workaround solutions that require good knowledge of products and user environment.
  • Tracks product problems, identifies bugs and coordinates with developers or more senior support people in fixing them.
  • Develops support tools and procedures that improve the quality and productivity.
  • Interacts with sales people and pre-sales engineers on customer issues.
  • Performs non-complex bug fixes in source code and moderately complex bugs in installation.
  • Produces product patches according to procedures.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ working experience in multiple Operating Systems such as Linux/Windows/Unix.
  • Good communication skills and inter-personal skills.
  • Excellent English ability in reading, writing and speaking is highly required.
  • French or Japanese is an extra asset to the position.
  • Like to work with customers through emails or phone.
  • Excellent ability in problem analysis and solution.
  • Ability to fix some non-complex bugs in the code and excellentability in fixing installation/configuration related bugs.
  • Good productivity and quality results.
  • Be able to work with high pressure.
  • Be able to work with multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Flexibility in working schedule.
