Description

 

Performs software product development, integration and maintenance, also work with customers closely to understand requirements and provide solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs or reviews design and implementation of moderate  complicated  projects  that require some research and analysis.
  • Work with customers or prospects closely to understand requirements and  provide solutions.
  •   Work with 3rd party software vendors closely to integrate software(s) together.
  • Performs product maintenance work including fixing bugs and provide emergency fixes to customers.
  • Provide consulting services to Sales Engineers or prospects
  •  Prepares, writes, or reviews technical documentations.
  • Help quickly resolve customer critical issues including resolve customer severity 1 issue, and investigate very tough issues escalated from support team.
  •  Need to visit customers or prospects occasionally.

 

 

Requirements

  •  At least Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years software development experience.
  • Very good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid C++ or Java programming experience.
  • Solid understanding and experience in Unix and Windows OS system.
  • Solid understanding and experience in software development methodology and processes.
  • Solid experience in customer engagement and expectation management.
  •  Asset if familiar with Grid software.
  •  Asset if familiar with financial industry.
