As a Platform Central Sales Representative you will be required to understand customer requirements and position GRID software solutions and services to an assigned geographic, vertical or national account base territory.
You will be responsible for building targeted territory plans, develop account penetration strategies, and identify new business opportunities with direct responsibility for assigned revenue targets and business objectives.
A strong understanding of Platform’s solution offerings will be required in addition to strong account management and relationship building skills.
You must be an active team member participating on teams including field sales, support, education and professional services and provide superior customer at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a software firm. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high-level decision makers and to work independently within defined policies and procedures.
- Must be good at Excel, Word, Siebel and other related tools
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or equivalent is desirable
- Sales experience in the HPC vertical including Life Science, Education and Government sectors/verticals would be highly desirable.
