The Program Manager is the driving force behind the overall schedule and launch of a product. They are responsible for managing/coordinating all phases and aspects of the product development and launch process - from definition through release. The Program Manager will coordinate the day-to-day activities required to deliver a great software product on time, hosting and driving regular cross-functional team meetings, managing external dependencies and logistics, as well as ensuring we hit key defined milestones along the way. The Program Manager is primarily a coordination role, ensuring that all the key groups within Platform are all up to speed and have the information to successfully complete their role in the product development and launch of a product. The Program Manager will also highlight key unresolved issues to the product group management staff if they threaten the successful launch of the product
Objectives:
- Manages a project from design and implementation through release, including post-release analysis of what can be improved in the process for the future.
- Chairs regular cross-functional team meetings with all relevant functions within Platform (i.e. development, test, documentation, localization, usability, customer and technical support, training, beta test, product release, sales, marketing).
- Highlights and escalates key risks and issues with any groups that might affect the overall schedule.
- Owns a master schedule and is responsible for updates to the official Product Plan of Record. Tracks milestone deliverables. Ensures all key checkpoints are passed.
- Seeks ways to refine and improve the software development & launch process.

- Ensures operational readiness of Order Admin, IT, Finance and Sales Operations for new release including the operational mechanics of pricing, new tools (key generation), new SKUs.

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years Project/Program management experience
- Excellent leadership skills

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Project/Program Management especially with companies with good reputations for strong programs.
- Experience in Project/Program Management within the computer software industry.
- BSc Software Engineering, Computer Science or other associated advanced technical degree.
